Overview
A two-player game of skill on a board of twelve numbered rows linked by a network of lines. No dice, no luck — only judgement.
Objective
The first player to get any piece to row 12 (the opponent's end of the board) is the winner. Green wins by reaching row 12; gold wins by reaching row 1.
Setup
Each player has 10 pieces. Green starts on rows 2–3; gold starts on rows 10–11.
Gameplay
- Players take turns moving one piece per turn. Green moves first.
- Each piece can be moved in any direction along any connecting line, but only as far as the next connected square (one step along one line).
- You cannot move a piece to a square already occupied by another piece (yours or your opponent's).
- The same piece cannot be moved twice in a row. The locked piece is ringed in red so you can see which piece you must leave alone this turn.
Winning
Slip one piece through to the far row before your opponent does. Balance attack and defence: commit too many pieces forward and you leave gaps; commit too few and your advance stalls.
